Job Summary:

HUB24 is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Security Administrator (SecOps Admin) to join our Cyber Security and Governance this pivotal role you will deploy manage and optimise security tools and practices that protect our applications infrastructure networks and end-user environments. You will work collaboratively across the business respond to security alerts and incidents and contribute to continuous improvement of our operational security capability.

Responsibilities:

This role is part of a team that develops implements and operates security practices across applications networks servers and end user devices responds to vulnerability alerts incidents and service requests and proactively monitors and manages security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve system documentation processes procedures and knowledge bases.

  • Provide technical analysis design administration and daily support for security tools and services.

  • Automate or document recurring activities to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Support vulnerability management and secure operation of cloud network software and IT systems.

  • Contribute to development and execution of strategic security initiatives.

  • Adhere to security policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with and mentor team members to uplift capability.

  • Some after-hours work and participation in an on-call roster required (allowances provided).

Requirements:

  • Experience with one or more of the following: Office 365/EntraID/InTune/Purview; vulnerability management tooling (Qualys CrowdStrike MS Defender).

  • Preferred: Server OS (Windows/Linux) cloud technologies (AWS GCP) deployment of AI or DLP.

  • Highly regarded: Industry certifications (ISC2 ISACA CompTIA) security frameworks (ISO27001 Essential Eight NIST CSF) networking fundamentals SIEM tools such as Splunk.

  • Strong research and problem-solving capability.

  • Excellent organisational skills ability to manage competing priorities and effective documentation skills.
