Description1. Job Purpose
To support the development and execution of revenue management strategies that maximize market share and profitability. This involves daily monitoring of inventory competitor pricing analysis and demand forecasting to ensure the right product is sold to the right customer at the right time.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily weekly and monthly revenue reports (e.g. RevPAR ADR and Occupancy for hotels). Identify trends and anomalies in booking patterns.
- Pricing & Inventory Management: Assist in setting daily BAR (Best Available Rate) and managing inventory across all distribution channels (OTAs GDS and Direct).
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing and local market demand (events holidays etc.) to recommend strategic adjustments.
- Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual revenue forecasts and budgets.
- Channel Management: Ensure price parity across all third-party platforms and troubleshoot any connectivity issues between the Property Management System (PMS) and Channel Managers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Marketing and Reservations teams to align promotional offers with revenue goals.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 24 years of experience in revenue management reservations or front office operations.
- Technical Proficiency: * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables VLOOKUPs formulas).
- Experience with Revenue Management Systems (e.g. IDeaS Duetto) and PMS (e.g. Opera).
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights.
