As a Medical Strategy Lead you will play a meaningful role in leveraging your scientific expertise to integrate these solutions into the healthcare system for both present and future needs. Accountable to ensure the external scientific communication strategy is integrated into the overall strategy as a strategic partner to the business.
Collect analyze and integrate data and insights from the Canadian health care system into the overall strategy at both a national and global level.
As part of the local team contributes at a leadership level identifies and prioritizes local evidence generation needs that support local and global evidence generation plans.
Accountable to provide strategic leadership into the overall integrated strategy through developing the medical components of the plan.
National stakeholder engagement strategy and execution with a focus on scientific/medical exchange on the latest scientific advancements and topics that address external needs.
Leads local late pipeline strategic planning with portfolios that vary from low to high levels of complexity. Contributes to the global pipeline strategic plan.
Contributes to the cross functional impact measures. Accountable for the measures for the outcomes led by medical and shared outcomes with cross functional execution.
Acts as a trusted partner and may be in some cases be a primary point of contact between Roche and external therapeutic experts
Cross functional collaboration with a focus on the overall medical strategy and execution based on the prioritized outcomes within the integrated plan.
Contribute to the national access strategy and accountable to propose the local program for compassionate use/ pre-approval access.
You are building and maintaining deep knowledge of product disease and therapeutic (PDK) knowledge of Roche assets and the competitive landscape.
Who you are:
You hold a University Degree in a Science Based Program (PhD MSc MD PharmD Biomedical allied Health or related field).
You possess 5 years of proven experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
You have a robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development medical affairs strategies and relevant processes (eg. GCP PV Industry Codes & Regulations).
You have a proven track record of developing and leading strategic initiatives that achieve business goals. You also bring experience in guiding teams and effectively influencing cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment.
You have the ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from 15 to 30%. (Overnight travel - frequent).
Preferred:
You have a grasp of MS which allows you to effectively collaborate and chip in to strategic initiatives.
You demonstrate a solid understanding of Launch Excellence with the ability to lead medical projects and strategies that drive scientific impact externally. Prior experience across pre-launch and post-marketing phases is considered an asset.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Ontario is 136936.00 and 179728.50 of hiring range.
