TheSenior Manager Project Managementplays a vital role within the Project Delivery organization responsible for managing a portfolio of key projects that support business operations and compliance initiatives. This position involves leading the planning execution and delivery of projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget while meeting quality and safety standards.

The Senior Manager will oversee large-scale capital design and construction projects within either the Innovative Medicines or Medtech sectors providing guidance and coordination across cross-functional teams. This includes defining project scope developing schedules securing resources and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Given the global scope of Johnson & Johnsons facilities including manufacturing sites laboratories and officesthe Senior Manager will leverage technical expertise and project management best practices to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. The role requires a strong focus on operational excellence regulatory compliance and safety supporting the organizations strategic priorities and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Lead and oversee project execution following IDEA and FPX ensuring all deliverables align with safety cost schedule and quality benchmarks.

  • Follow and implement the project execution plan methodology to identify evaluate and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate comprehensive project planning tracking and reporting against FPOs to ensure project and program success.

  • Manage customer interactions contractor relationships and communications to ensure stakeholder alignment and satisfaction.

  • Oversee project portfolios across diverse sites whether at IM or MD locations ensuring delivery in accordance with organizational KPIs.

  • Oversee or support other project leads stepping into the role of Senior Project Lead when required to ensure consistency and excellence in project delivery

  • Drive the application of best practices and continuous improvement in project management processes.

  • Demonstrate proactive leadership by managing project teams ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering collaboration among regional stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project ensuring seamless integration of technical financial and operational aspects.

  • This role demands a strategic yet hands-on leader with strong risk management skills excellent stakeholder communication and a focus on delivering projects safely efficiently and sustainably

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or Construction Management from an accredited institution required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Microsoft Project and PowerPoint required

Experience Skills and Knowledge

  • 10 years or more of relevant experience in engineering project management or manufacturing with a focus on operational excellence and team leadership

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects or programs within a regulated manufacturing environment including planning execution and compliance

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes in FDA-regulated environments including design startup and operational phases.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams coordinate efforts across different departments and ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

  • Experience with financial management related to project or operational budgets resource planning and forecasting.

  • Travel Requirements: This position will require up to 25-50% domestic and international travel

Preferred:

  • Project Management Certification or Degree

  • Familiar with Front-End Loading Best Practices.

  • LEED AP certification is preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122000.00 - $212750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical dental vision life insurance short- and long-term disability business accident insurance and group legal insurance.
