Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Purchasing Assistant in the Fort Wayne IN this position you will be responsible for expediting invoice reconciliation and other miscellaneous purchasing tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and complete purchase orders
- Responsible for invoice reconciliation
- Responsible for expediting and making sure the materials are delivered in the specified amount
- Receive packing slips
- Ensure and promote compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum experience in an office setting
- Previous Purchasing experience is a plus
- Must have proven multi-task skills in prior position
- Candidate must be accurate; attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized and a self-starter
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
