The Opportunity

From day one youll take on real responsibilities gaining hands-on experience and valuable skills. Youll dive into various aspects of our business gaining a solid understanding of what we do and how we do it.

What will you do

As Bill to Cash Assistantyour key responsibilitieswill be to:

• Review ledgers to identify items payable to Carriers/Clients/Sub Brokers and other entities.
• Reconcile incoming payments with invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and track unallocated payments through reporting.
• Liaise with account managers and Insurance companies regarding payment issues reconciliation discrepancies and unallocated cash.
• Timely and effective responses to all queries requests corrections etc. received from field offices/carriers.
• Participate in and contribute to potential process improvement initiatives.
• Following Procedures Client / Insurance Companies specifications and adherence to all statutory requirements.
• As a team member report to the head office and coordinate tasks among the Lisbon-based Bill to Cash team.

What Youll Bring

• Relevant experience Accounting / Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in French and English (minimum C1 level required).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel Word PowerPoint)
• Insurance industry knowledge preferred
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively and take initiative.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
