In our production site in Nagykanizsa or alternatively in our Budapest HUB (BudaPark Gate ) we are looking for a Sourcing Project Manager responsible for leading sourcing projects and supporting new solution development activities.
Main responsibilities
- Drive re-/in-/out-source and cost-out projects in liaison with the project team (R&D Category Management Quality Production etc.)
- Meet relevant standards for price quality timing and reliability of supply (Project Management)
- Plan direct and track purchasing activities in relation to new solution development (NSD projects) ensuring timely availability of direct materials (parts)
- Hold commercial responsibility for assigned product development projects (direct material and investments in tools)
- Plan all procurement activities in relation to assigned projects and participate in collaborative planning sessions with the project core team (senior project management technical project lead quality project lead production project lead)
- Identify potential risks and take the necessary actions to reach project KPIs (savings/machine price; time; cost)
- Manage supplier selection in liaison with respective category managers R&D quality and production
- Manage and execute the RFQ process including contract award in liaison with respective category managers
- Present project statuses to the Steering Committee and provide suggestions when encountering barriers
- Maintain close communication with suppliers and the project team to ensure transparency within the projects
You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Engineering Economics or similar fields. You bring relevant experience in Project Management/ Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / Purchasing or comparable functions. You are fluent in English (spoken and written) possess strong analytical skills and have advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation skills are an advantage. Lean experience or relevant production experience is a plus.
As an individual you demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills at all levels coupled with solid changemanagement capability and strong negotiation skills. Most importantly you show eagerness to learn and readiness to develop your capabilities within Strategic Sourcing day by day.
