FP&A Director - Performance Analytics
Job Description
In this position you will coordinate the Planning & Performance Cycle. Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is crucial to monitoring business performance and providing business leaders with clear explanations for performance variances and actionable insights to achieve performance targets.
Your role:
- Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate business performance insights are provided for executive management as part of the management reporting in the actual and planning processes.
- Oversee planning and performance cycle for Philips Group activities including planning process ownership reporting analytics target setting and executive briefing.
- Managing the insights into the external reporting of Philips results including the Press Release process and contributing to management summary of the Annual Report.
- Manage consolidation of analysis for Cluster activities.
- Drive strict management of cost development through detailed Productivity tracking cost bridging and pro-active analysis & challenge of cost trends.
- Contribute to FP&A Continuous Improvement activities (Daily Management Problem Solving Hoshin Projects).
Youre the right fit if:
- You have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience and roles in e.g Finance FP&A Controlling Management reporting and analysis and team management preferably within an international environment Health Technology domain.
- MBA Finance or PhDs in areas such as Accounting and Finance Financial Planning and Analysis Financial Modeling Finance Financial Control Management Reporting and Analysis or equivalent.
- Proven depth of end-to-end business knowledge financial analytics and strategic insight.
- Strong political acumen with an ability to recognize organizational and business differences and work to effect alignments.
- Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management ability. Influence and navigate through indirect teams.
- Great people management skills and strong eyes for talent. Ability to set an engaging long-term vision drive change and manage performance while unlocking professional development for direct reports. Ensure a sustainable and engaging working environment.
- Proven ability to marry financial constructs with business knowledge and to partner with general and functional teams.
- Intellectual capacity to digest complex information see trends and analysis through data and translate this into concrete actions. Comfortable in managing ambiguity and able to prioritize and focus on 80/20 to drive results.
- An understanding of and affinity with Philips ways of working values cultural expectations and norms.
- Model Philips behaviors & competencies and Finance ways of working.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
