Job Summary
Position Description:
We are looking for a strong QA professional who can bring solid technical skills and a passion for quality engineering with expertise in Python Java and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency experience in LLM testing and exposure to Quality Assurance (QA) practices. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities collaboration skills and a keen interest in emerging AI technologies.
This is a hybrid position requires working from CGI Halifax NS office 2 days per week (subject to change anytime). Alternate locations: Moncton or Fredericton NB Stratford PEI or St. Johns NL).
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain applications using Python and/ or Java
Design and execute test plans for AI and LLM models
Implement and test LLM-based solutions for various use cases
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
Optimize performance and scalability of AI-driven applications
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
4 to 6 years of overall professional experience
Strong proficiency as a QA
Hands on experience in Python
Knowledge and exposure to Large Language Models
Hands on experience in SQL
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Hands on Experience in OpenAI API
Strong communication skills
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55000$105000. This role is an existing vacancy.
