Job Summary

Client: Confidential (Banking Client)

Role: QA Lead & QA Resource

Number of resources needed: 2

Location & work model: Toronto Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week onsite)

Project Background:

The client has designed a new concept for their mobile app that is ready for implementation. They have engaged us to plan the implementation and build a portion of the features/ functionality that would live on the new page of their mobile/web app. We are seeking two contractors for a QA Lead and QA Resource to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation of an innovative mobile app concept.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA role with a proven track record of leading QA efforts.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing including synthetic monitoring and API testing.
- Experience with web responsiveness testing.
- Ability to develop and implement test strategies.
- Knowledge of WCAG standards for accessibility.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar development tools.
- Proficient in the SDLC lifecycle including design planning execution.
- Experience working in cloud environments preferably AWS.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Manual and Automation Testing: Selenium JUnit/TestNG or equivalent
- API Testing: Postman SoapUI
- Web Responsive Testing: BrowserStack LambdaTest
- Test Strategy: TestRail Jira QTest
- WCAG Standards: Lighthouse or equivalent
- Tools: GitHub Copilot or Equivalent.
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum
