Job Summary
- The overall responsibility of this role is to facilitate the full lifecycle of a service at Virtusa include building transition and run of IT service lines
- Drive complex IT projects (infra support service desk). Delivering these projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are addressed.
- Set deadlines assigns responsibilities monitors and summarize project progress.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Ensure project methodologies project delivery processes and implementation management processes are followed.
- This includes managing and driving:
- Project Schedule
- Risk and Issue Management
- Scope Change Management Manage the project budget including understanding and validating estimates as well as managing project resources effectively.
- Manage global team of 15 individuals
- Scope and present new statements of work as needed
- Mentor team members as their reporting manager
- Provide governance for ongoing service delivery
- Act as escalation point for critical issues
- Predict staffing needs
- Review and presentation of delivery metrics
Ensure operational processes and procedures are met
Required Skills Education: Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
