Are you ready to be the face of one of Queenslands most legendary regional pubs The Victoria Hotel or The Vic as the locals know it is a high-volume powerhouse in the heart of Gundy and were looking for an Assistant Manager who is ready to lead the charge.
This isnt just a job; its a role for a true people person who loves the pace of a busy country hotel. From a packed bistro and a thriving sports bar to a high-performing gaming room The Vic is the social center of the region. We need a hands-on leader who can handle the hustle of a Friday night while making every local feel like a VIP.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA/RSG RMLV and Approved Manager as per state requirements
