Facilities / Office Services Associate

Qualifications :
Client is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Facilities / Office Services Associate to support daily workplace operations in a fast-paced professional environment. This role focuses on facilities coordination meeting and event support catering services and general office services while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate catering services by working with internal support staff and external vendors for meetings and events
- Support departments with non-client business activities and general office service tasks
- Oversee daily facilities operations to maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment
- Prepare meeting and conference rooms including cleaning tables chairs and credenzas
- Perform post-meeting cleanup and reset conference rooms for future use
- Stock organize and maintain break areas to meet employee needs
- Perform routine coffee machine maintenance including weekly rinsing and replenishing supplies
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities including packing labeling and verifying packing slips
- Determine appropriate packing methods and materials for outgoing and incoming shipments
- Support mail delivery and distribution by following established routing and instructions
- Operate and support copiers and related office equipment; perform basic troubleshooting as needed
- Utilize hardware and software tools to support cost recovery document management and workflow processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall business operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 12 years of related work experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry highly preferred
- Some copy/print job experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and minimum auto insurance coverage may be required per client policy
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of copiers and related office equipment; basic repair knowledge preferred
- Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
- Basic electronics knowledge preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals parts books and written instructions
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs
- Excellent verbal communication and customer relations skills
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office and facilities environment with varied daily assignments
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Moderate physical activity including standing walking bending reaching and lifting
Additional Information :
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
