Position Title: Draft Technician Richmond VA

Reports To: Area Sales Manager/General Sales Manager

Location: Richmond VA

Territory: Primarily Richmond (RVA) with travel to Charlottesville VA and other areas throughout Virginia as needed

Position Overview

• Clean maintain and service draft beer systems at retail customer locations
• Ensure product quality proper system operation and customer satisfaction
• Support special events and promotions as assigned
• Travel regularly within the RVA market and statewide as business needs require

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize draft beer systems on a scheduled service rotation
• Service draft components including faucets taps couplers washers valves beer lines CO2 systems and temperature controls
• Identify troubleshoot and report draft system issues or equipment concerns
• Complete accurate service logs cleaning documentation and reports
• Follow service instructions provided by Sales Representatives and Management
• Communicate account issues opportunities or competitive activity to leadership
• Respond professionally to customer questions and service-related concerns
• Assist with draft system setup and breakdown for company-sponsored events
• Safely transport draft equipment product and supplies
• Adhere to company safety standards sanitation procedures and policies
• Comply with all federal state and local regulations related to alcoholic beverage distribution
• Maintain a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Provide quotes to retailers and collect payment for replacement draft parts as needed
• Manage in-house inventory of necessary draft parts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous draft system beverage industry or mechanical experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service locations
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry cases weighing 3555 lbs. regularly
• Assist with moving kegs weighing up to 165 lbs. using proper equipment
• Push/pull carts weighing up to approximately 150 lbs.
• Stand walk bend reach kneel and lift for extended periods
• Work in coolers and varying indoor and outdoor environments
