IT Systems Engineer

What are we looking for

As an IT Systems Engineer you will be a key driver of reliability and scalability for our global infrastructure. You arent just maintaining systems; you are optimising them. You will serve as the technical anchor for our Bangalore site bridging the gap between local operational needs and global infrastructure strategy. This role requires a high degree of autonomy a proactive approach and the ability to solve complex cross-functional technical challenges. What Youll Do

• Infrastructure Ownership: Help the global team with the deployment configuration and lifecycle management of multi-site server environments across Linux macOS and Windows.
• Network & Security Excellence: Help the global team with manage and optimize enterprise networking components including firewalls switches and ZTNA environments to ensure seamless global connectivity.
• Virtualization & Storage Management: Help the global team with manage and scale VMware/vCenter environments and storage solutions (NFS CIFS iSCSI) ensuring high availability and performance.
• Project Leadership: Act as the regional lead for global IT initiatives driving technology rollouts and system migrations.
• Problem Management: Beyond standard troubleshooting you will perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventative measures

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 46 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure with a proven track record of working with complex enterprise-level environments.
• Technical Depth: Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) macOS and Windows Server.
• Hands-on expertise in VMware and storage administration.
• Understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and modern security frameworks (Zero Trust/Zscaler).
• Automation Mindset: Experience with scripting (Python Bash or PowerShell) or Infrastructure as Code (Ansible Terraform) is highly preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultures.
