Job Summary
Qualification: B.E/ reliability/Design/thermal
Location: Bengaluru
Requirements:
Prior experience in reliability of control units.
Experience in Commercial vehicles domain is preferred.
Knowledge of Field load calculations
Ability to validate designs based on targeted failure modes
Technical Failure Analysis and Risk Assessments based on the need
Good understanding of Thermal Mechanical & Thermo-mechanical phenomena during
validation
Understanding of Concept of Design for Reliability (DfR V-model etc)
Knowledge of common failure modes of electronic components
Aging laws for electronic components
Risk analysis PPM calculations
Knowledge of statistical tools like Minitab Weibull
Understanding customer requirements and transferring them to validation plan
Writing a validation plan for product
Usage of AEC-Q ISO-16750 IEC DIN Standards to derive test plan
Knowledge of Validation test equipments
Thorough knowledge of conducting Ingress Protection (IP) tests
Awareness of the AE & PS Processes
8D CAR DFMEA FTA & DRBFM techniques
Good knowledge of validation lab practices

Experience in Automotive domain.
