Job Summary
University Physicians Association is seeking qualified applicants for a Part Time Patient Service Representative (PSR) for Rocky Top ENT & Allergy located in Oak Ridge TN. The position may include some local travel as needed.
Job duties include:
Greet patients in friendly and timely manner
Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office
Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance eligibility and collects co-pays
Check Out Patients and make sure they have appropriate information for their follow up appointment.
Perform end of day tasks for billing
Ensures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front office
Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions
Refers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physician
Schedules patients with appropriate physician
Document scanning into electronic health record
Other duties as assigned (Scheduling incoming Referrals Filing incoming faxes appropriately etc)
Strong communication skills attention to detail time management and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate.

Hours:
Monday Wednesday and Friday 8 hrs a day.
