Were currently hiring a Certified Medication Aide-Eveningswho is passionate about helping others and providing the best possible care.

Cedar Rapids IA Med Aide-Full Time Evenings 3p-11p with every other weekend required.

What Youll Do

• Safely administer medications according to the physicians orders and residents care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
• Observe residents for any changes in condition side effects or concerns and promptly report to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living providing compassion and dignity in every interaction.
• Build meaningful connections with residents families and your fellow team members.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment where everyone feels valued.

What Were Looking For

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent depending on state requirements).
• Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Compassion patience and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays when needed.

Per Iowa law Medication Aides must complete a department-approved medication aide or medication manager course and pass the required exam before administering medications to our residents. Additionally a licensed healthcare professional must assess the Medication Aide before they can begin this responsibility.
