Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00am5:00pm/10:00am6:00pm / 8:00am-4:00pm (flexible start and end time for the right candidate)
Salary: $35$40 per hour depending on experienceFull health insurance coverage (100% employer-paid) 401(k) plan 23 weeks of paid time off Paid federal holidays

About the Family

A warm and welcoming private family located in Great Falls VA is seeking a professional and experienced full-time Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. The family has two young children (almost 8 and 6 years old) who attend school during the day. From approximately 9:00am3:00pm the home is generally quiet as the children are at school the father is at work and the mother works remotely from a dedicated home office.

The family values discretion reliability and someone who will truly become a trusted and long-term member of their household.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Home Care

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping to maintain a clean organized and welcoming home

• Properly care for specialty surfaces including marble and hardwood floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and products

• Maintain organization throughout the home including closets storage spaces and common areas

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times

Laundry & Garment Care

• Manage extensive household laundry with multiple separate loads

• Follow specific garment care instructions including cold washes and delicate cycles

• Provide ironing as needed

• Coordinate items requiring professional dry cleaning

Cooking

• Prepare relaxed family-style meals by following provided recipes

• Assist with light meal preparation and kitchen organization

• Support with grocery shopping and food inventory management

Household Support & Errands

• Run miscellaneous household errands including food shopping and dry cleaning pick-up/drop-off

• Keep household essentials stocked and organized

Child-Friendly Presence

• Be comfortable and confident around two school-aged children

• Maintain a warm calm and professional presence in the home

• No child care- there is a nanny however it is important you enjoy children

Requirements

• Prior experience working as a housekeeper in a private household

• Strong knowledge of specialty surface care (marble hardwood floors)

• Experience managing detailed laundry and garment care including ironing

• Comfortable around children

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Excellent professional references

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
