Position: Housekeeper

Location: Blanco Texas 78606

Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:00 PM (flexibility appreciated); approximately 40 hours per week

Compensation: $28$32/hour

Living Arrangement: Live-out preferred; live-in option available

A private family based in Blanco Texas is seeking an experienced detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the care and upkeep of their primary residence and their ranch guest properties. This is a long-term opportunity with a family that highly values loyalty discretion and consistency.

The ideal candidate is dependable organized and takes pride in maintaining high household standards. This role offers the opportunity to train alongside a long-tenured staff member who is preparing for retirement ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.

Household Staff Environment

• The family employs household and ranch staff; teamwork and clear communication are essential.

• Training and onboarding will be provided by an experienced housekeeper.

• The family is seeking a long-term placement and hopes to build a lasting working relationship (5 years).

Primary Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping for a 7800 sq. ft. 5-bedroom 5-bathroom primary residence.

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas bedrooms bathrooms kitchen and guest spaces.

• Laundry and ironing for household linens and clothing.

• Regular changing and laundering of bedding.

• Detailed cleaning including dusting vacuuming polishing and window care.

• Organization of cabinets drawers closets and storage areas.

• Grocery shopping and washing produce prior to storage.

• Assistance with occasional events including set-up and post-event clean-up.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and respect household routines at all times.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping support at family ranch rental properties including 3 cottages and 3 guest houses as needed.

• Ranch property support typically requires 12 days per week between guest stays.

• Assist with household errands and inventory/supply management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional housekeeping experience in private households or estates.

• Strong attention to detail and high organizational standards.

• Proven experience with laundry care ironing and wardrobe management.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a household team.

• Discreet professional and respectful of privacy.

• Flexible adaptable and able to adjust to changing daily needs.

• Kind patient and professional demeanor.

• Valid drivers license required.

• English communication skills required; additional languages a plus.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Primary location: Familys main residence and ranch properties in Blanco TX.

• Schedule may vary slightly based on guest turnover at ranch properties.

• Live-out preferred; live-in option available if needed.
