Role Overview
As a product data analyst you will be responsible for analyzing our tens of millions of data points and providing actionable insight for product managers and leadership. This insight will help us to create WOW experience for our customers. Product Analytics creates meaningful insights seeks answers to complex business questions and enables a better understanding of customer is an opportunity to be part of a diverse growing and dynamic team with an upward growth potential. You will be part of an international expansion team where you will get a broad end-to-end view of aggressive expansion of an e-commerce business.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate and be a thought partner with/for product managers designers program managers engineers and other stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Create and provide new customer experience metrics and insights to ensure the best shopping experience for our customers.
- Telling your data story to product and business leadership
- Co-build analytic culture as part of a growing data team
- Creating analytic products to help with data-driven decision making
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in statistics computer engineering or any other analytic disciplines
- Expert SQL knowledge with 7 years work experience in data analytics
- Experience in providing clear and actionable recommendations by analyzing a vast amount of data
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau Metabase Looker etc.
- Experience with big data tools like Hadoop Spark and Presto
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python and R/SAS or other statistical packages
- Experience in working with version control (Git SVN etc.)
- Well diverse in or comfortable with learning new modern data tools
- Experience analyzing e-commerce and customer behavior logs
- Strong English skills (both verbal and written) are a plus but not a requirement
Type of work model
Our Hybrid work model: Coupang hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration that acts a catalyst to enrich the experience of employees. Employees are required to work at least 3 days in the office per week with the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week depending on the role requirement. Some businesses may require more time in office due to nature of work.
