Position Overview
Location: Juno Beach FL (On-site Required)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Experience Level: 0-5 Years
Our client is a leading energy infrastructure company seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator I to join their Engineering Construction & Supply Chain division. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical energy projects while developing your estimating expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for energy infrastructure projects
- Analyze project specifications drawings and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates
- Collaborate with engineering construction and procurement teams to gather project data
- Maintain and update estimating databases and cost models
- Support feasibility studies and project due diligence activities
- Participate in estimate reviews and present findings to stakeholders
- Assist in risk assessment and cost optimization initiatives
- Travel to project sites as required for data collection and validation
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Experience: 0-5 years in project estimation construction or engineering
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction/energy project processes
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Drivers License: Valid unrestricted license with clean driving record (no alcohol/drug offenses in past 5 years)
