Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will be a Texas-licensed attorney with demonstrated success in handling complex personal injury litigation including pre-suit investigation discovery motion practice settlement negotiation and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution focusing on complex litigation matters.
Conduct legal research draft pleadings motions briefs and legal memoranda.
Lead written discovery take and defend depositions and participate in case strategy meetings.
Engage in pre-trial preparation including evidentiary hearings and trial exhibits.
Effectively negotiate with defense counsel and insurance carriers to secure favorable settlements.
Maintain clear high-touch communication with clients experts and support staff.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
Represent clients in court including hearings mediations and trials.

Qualifications

Required:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in Texas in good standing.
Minimum 35 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation with a track record of litigation involvement (depositions hearings negotiations trials).
Strong legal writing analytical and oral advocacy skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation.

Preferred:

Experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
Trial experience and comfort in courtroom advocacy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
