Associate Attorney Workers Compensation)

About the Role:

As an Associate Attorney in the Workers Compensation Department you will manage an assigned caseload from inception through resolution. This role offers significant hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative high-performing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing workers compensation matters independently
Taking and defending depositions
Conducting witness interviews
Handling written discovery and drafting responses
Preparing and arguing motions
Assisting with hearing and trial preparation
Developing case strategy and providing client recommendations

This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident in litigation detail-oriented and eager to build long-term expertise in workers compensation defense.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
Minimum of 2 years of workers compensation experience (defense experience preferred)
Ability to manage a caseload independently
Experience handling discovery including depositions written discovery and motion practice
Trial experience is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong legal research and writing skills
