Associate Attorney Workers Compensation)

About the Role:

As an Associate Attorney in the Workers Compensation Department you will manage your own assigned caseload while working alongside experienced litigators in a supportive and structured setting. This role offers substantial autonomy with the backing of a respected national platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a full workers compensation caseload from inception through resolution
Conducting and defending depositions
Handling general discovery matters including written discovery and witness interviews
Drafting and arguing motions
Preparing cases for hearings and trial
Providing strategic analysis and recommendations to clients

This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident handling matters independently while also valuing mentorship collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Florida Bar
Minimum of 2 years of workers compensation experience (defense experience preferred)
Ability to manage a caseload independently
Experience handling discovery including depositions written discovery and motion practice
Trial experience is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong legal research and writing skills
