Associate Attorney Workers Compensation)

About the Role:

As an Associate Attorney in the Workers Compensation Department you will manage your own assigned caseload while working alongside experienced litigators in a supportive and structured setting. This role offers substantial autonomy with the backing of a respected national platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full workers compensation caseload from inception through resolution
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Handling general discovery matters including written discovery and witness interviews
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Preparing cases for hearings and trial
  • Providing strategic analysis and recommendations to clients

This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident handling matters independently while also valuing mentorship collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of workers compensation experience (defense experience preferred)
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Experience handling discovery including depositions written discovery and motion practice
  • Trial experience is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Professional positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to client service
