Job Summary
Performs registration pre-registration scheduling and rescheduling procedures. Verifies eligibility and obtains or verifies prior authorization was obtained for service(s). Verifies patients demographics and accurately inputs the information into the registration and/or scheduling application(s) including documenting the account thoroughly in order to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials/penalties from the payor(s). Verifies and understands insurance benefits. Performs point of service activities collecting copayments and self pay payments in some instances will request copayments at the time of scheduling or pre-registration.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week; 3-12 hour shifts
- Wednesday Thursday and Friday 6am - 6pm
