Role Overview
The Client is seeking a highly experienced Mortgage AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a short-term part-time engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on mortgage professional who is actively using AI tools to modernize loan origination pipeline management and marketing workflows. The focus is on real-world application knowledge sharing and practical AI adoption within the mortgage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise from hands-on experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer Broker or Lending Executive
Share practical use cases of LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT Claude) and AI agents in managing mortgage pipelines and marketing efforts
Advise on integrating AI tools with CRMs and Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
Communicate AI concepts in a clear practical and results-driven manner tailored to loan officers
Contribute to training enablement or knowledge-sharing sessions as needed
Help elevate industry adoption of AI through applied expertise and thought leadership
Primary Skills (Must-Have)
Industry Expertise: Significant hands-on experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer Broker or Lending Executive (active in-the-trenches experience strongly preferred)
AI-First Mindset: Early adopter actively using LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude and AI agents for pipeline management or marketing
Mortgage Technology Acumen: Comfortable with modern mortgage tech stacks and interested in AI integration with CRMs and LOS platforms
Communication Skills: Ability to speak the language of loan officersfast-paced practical and outcome-focusedwhile clearly explaining the why and how of AI without jargon
High-Impact Practitioner: Practitioner-first mindset with a willingness to share knowledge to uplift the broader mortgage profession
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience training other Loan Officers or speaking at mortgage industry events
Thought leadership or advisory experience related to AI in mortgage lending
