Job Summary

Cloud Engineer (OPS/Support focus) duration: 6 months

Goal: Relieve the team by taking over OPS/support tasks handling LCM work and improving documentation.

Core Responsibilities
1st and 2nd line cloud support for the Atlas platform
Troubleshoot incidents (networking IAM CI/CD S3 infra)
Perform LCM tasks (patching updates lifecycle management)
Improve and expand documentation (templates versioning self-service)
Maintain IaC (modules state reviews)
Manage monitoring alerting logging and backups
Support VPN issues TGW routing S3 policies RDS operations
Contribute to reliability and automation of repetitive tasks

Required Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 3 years AWS experience (Medior)
Networking (VPC subnets route tables NAT/IGW)
Databases (RDS operations backups restores parameter groups DynamoDB MongoDB)
Landing zones
IAM (policies roles permission boundaries)
S3 (policies lifecycle versioning security)
Terraform or CDK
CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab)
GitOps (branching PR reviews drift detection)
Basic programming skills (Python/Bash)
AWS Associate certification (mandatory)

Tooling & Technical Skills
Terraform CloudFormation
CloudWatch monitoring & alerts
Logging backups patching
VPN tooling (client install profiles L1 support)

Soft Skills:
Strong in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Proactive in improving reliability and documentation
Communicates effectively with engineers and support
Ownership over quality and stability
