Presales Engineer (MF)

As a Pre-Sales Engineer in the Sales team in the Netherlands you play a key role at the intersection of sales product and technical expertise. You support the commercial team throughout the sales cycle by translating customer needs into tailored technical solutions.

You act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients demonstrating the value and feasibility of our solutions in complex retail environments.

As a presales engineer you will make a positive impact through the following responsibilities:  

• Partner with Sales teams to support business development activities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical Vusion Solutions (IoT Software Services) designs 

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations

• Lead discovery workshops with retail clients (IT operations innovation teams)

• Prepare and respond to RFPs/RFIs and technical documentation

• Design solution architectures adapted to customer infrastructure

• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoC) and pilot implementations

• Ensure technical alignment between customer needs and product capabilities

• Work in close collaboration with the sales for all operational topics (technical integration and installations).

Qualifications :

• Experience in pre-sales solution engineering technical project management or technical consulting

• Strong understanding of IoT SaaS cloud environments and data solutions

• Experience in retail technology or digital transformation projects is a plus

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Native level in Dutch and Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
