Job Summary

Adelphi is seeking a Licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations and related consultative services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students ages 321 at a school in Austin Texas. The School Psychologist will support instructional planning and special education services in compliance with federal and state requirements.

Requirements:
Masters or Ph.D degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Educational Diagnostician.
Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological academic and behavioral evaluations for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
Select and administer appropriate assessment tools and interpret evaluation results.
Prepare Full and Individual Evaluations and Review of Existing Evaluation Data.
Participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Recommend instructional placements accommodations and related services.
Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and billing.
Any other duties assigned.
