Clinical Research Assistant (Phlebotomy & Front Desk Duties)
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant with phlebotomy experience to support both patient-facing clinical tasks and front desk operations. This role is essential to the success of our clinical trials and offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced research environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations: greet patients answer and triage calls and assist with scheduling
- Support Study Coordinators with administrative tasks and documentation
- Collect clinical data: vital signs EKGs patient interviews and chart reviews
- Perform phlebotomy and handle lab specimen collection processing and shipping
- Collaborate effectively with the Clinical Research team maintaining professionalism and strong communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Preferred: 1 year as a Medical Assistant or 6 months in a medical office
- Background in clinical research or healthcare preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; CRIO or research database experience a plus
- Willingness to learn lab and research procedures
