Based at our Springfield campus this is a career-defining opportunity in a dynamic patient-focused environment. These roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening in the coming months. This state of the art facility co-located with the existing Mater Private Hospital Springfield will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region and is set to care for over 200000 patients annually.
The Speech Pathology department will service both public and private patients across a range of specialties in both facilities including ICU medical surgical NICU paediatrics emergency and outpatients.
Salary range: $39.86 - $58.59 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
As a Speech Pathologist at Mater Health you will provide assessment diagnosis and management of patients presenting with communication and swallowing difficulties. Youll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care across a range of clinical areas.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services participate in quality improvement activities and engage in continuing professional development to ensure care is aligned with best practice and Maters mission and values.
