Position Summary
Kool Toyota is seeking a motivated Technician Apprentice to join our Service Department. This is an entry-level full-time position designed for individuals interested in starting a career as an automotive technician. The Technician Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced technicians learning diagnostic maintenance and repair skills while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections maintenance and repairs
Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks
Learn to use diagnostic tools and service equipment safely and correctly
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Follow dealership and manufacturer (Toyota) service procedures and guidelines
Accurately document work performed and communicate effectively with the service team
Attend training sessions and complete required manufacturer or in-house training
Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Interest in automotive repair and a desire to pursue a career as an automotive technician
Enrollment in or completion of an automotive technology program is a plus but not required
Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
Ability to stand bend lift and work on your feet for extended periods
