Job Title: HVAC-Service/Install Tech
Location: BWI Airport to Ashburn VA
Area of work: Able to drive within a 60-mile radius servicing sites.

Engineering Degree Required strong HVAC skills in refrigeration strong trouble shooting and maintenance experience
Expenses: Mileage provided while driving to work sites in the area. Mileage is to the site and between sites is covered. The mileage home is not covered. One direction pay on days they go to sites other than the office address. On days there is no drive to a site the technician isnt always required to come to the office address.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic evaluations troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC systems
Install maintain and repair heating cooling ventilation and refrigeration equipment
Conduct system performance tests and ensure units meet manufacturer and code standards
Perform routine maintenance including filter changes coil cleaning and component inspections
Provide excellent customer service while explaining repair needs options and recommendations
Complete work orders service reports and documentation accurately
Maintain company tools vehicles and equipment in good working condition
Follow all safety guidelines company policies and applicable codes and regulations
Participate in on call rotation for after-hours or emergency service
Communicate effectively with dispatch management and customers
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years experience preferred (or entry level for apprentice roles)
Valid EPA 608 Certification (Type I II or Universal preferred)
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read wiring diagrams schematics and technical manuals
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments including outdoors rooftops and confined spaces
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience with smart thermostats and building automation
Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems
Boiler and/or chiller experience
Electrical and refrigeration background
Kitchen equipment and/or refrigeration experience
