Who are we looking for

Were looking for aQuality Partner South QLD and Northern Australiato join our Quality team.

The Quality Partner operates within an Enterprise-wide Quality Management team and is responsible for delivering Enterprise Quality Management objectives across the South QLD and Northern Australia eco-region.Partnering with eco-region operational management and Project Delivery this role drives the embedment of quality management principles and supports GHDs journey towards Top Quartile business performance.

Utilising various data sources the Quality Partner works collaboratively with Project Delivery and other discipline and operational stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and together building communications and initiatives that assist GHD in achieving its business and improvement objectives.

The role can be based in most GHD offices across the South QLD and Northern Australia regions.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Seek out opportunities to influence discipline and operational leaders offering guidance and support in implementing quality practices.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with connected business disciplines and operations to strengthen quality culture and further our ambition to becoming a Top Quartile performance organisation.
• Partner with other disciplines such as project delivery finance HSE and client services to integrate quality management practices across all functions.
• Work closely with the Project Delivery function (e.g. PMO) to enhance understanding and in partnership with PMO and operations conduct investigations into trends and findings from themed and project audits and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Lead enterprise and regional quality initiatives working closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and achieve quality objectives promoting a culture of quality excellence and accountability.
• Lead and coordinate local effort to assist the maintenance of GHDs ISO 9001 certification.
• Present reports on Quality performance and continual improvement at the regional level.

Experience and knowledge required:

• Minimum tertiary qualification with a focus on business administration economics quality management or a related discipline.
• Quality Assurance qualification and knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems requirements.
• 5 years of experience in a consulting engineering or project management environment with proven experience in stakeholder management and improving performance.
• Demonstrated experience in designing implementing monitoring and reporting on QMS initiatives including undertaking quality reviews and audits.
• Working knowledge of project control procedures SOPs and regulations.
• Proven relationship building coaching networking and negotiation skills with an ability to influence.
• Experience in change management with a record of effectively managing the implementation and adherence of procedures.
• Experience in developing and delivery of internal reporting insights analyzing and monitoring tools.
• High level analytical skills sound judgement and decisiveness in problem solving.
