The Key Account Manager WA is responsible for achieving sales and gross profit growth across Western Australia by developing new business and strengthening existing key customer relationships. This handson role is focused on delivering engineeringbased solutions executing territory sales strategies and providing exceptional service to both new and existing customers. You will work closely with the Senior Key Account Manager WA technical engineering teams distributors and internal stakeholders to drive sustainable value and support our customers success.
Main Responsibilities
Develop annual territory call plans and conduct a minimum of 15 quality site visits per week
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
Map key account structures and decision-making processes
Maintain accurate CRM data including visit reports and opportunity updates
Support and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive territory growth
Present and sell value-added engineering solutions
Track and report on sales performance vs. budget (monthly quarterly annually)
Prepare detailed quotations and tenders liaising with technical teams for design support
Monitor competitor activity customer trends and market developments
Participate in product training IMILearn modules launches and promotional activities
Assist with branch promotional events product presentations and customer demonstrations
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and HSE requirements
Job Requirements
Proven success in Key Account Management ideally in commercial sales engineering
Strong technical knowledge of pneumatic and process control equipment including application and system design
Experience selling engineering solutions to large end users or OEMs
Highly developed organizational time management interpersonal and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to build deep customer relationships and identify new commercial opportunities
Experience working in large complex organisations and balancing strategic and operational demands
Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales reporting forecasting and metrics
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
