About the Role
Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join us as Inspection Manager (VIC). In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property inspections across our Victorian portfolio ensuring that properties are maintained to the highest standards and that compliance requirements are consistently met.
You will work Tuesday to Saturday in this role with Mondays off supporting a flexible and balanced approach to workload across the week.
Youll oversee the end-to-end inspection process including Entry Routine Exit and Build Warranty Inspections while supporting our property management team optimising inspection systems and fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure our clients tenants and team members receive outstanding service and support upholding OpenCorps reputation for care and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Entry Condition Reports before new tenancies documenting the propertys condition with detailed photographs and comments.
- Perform Routine Inspections at scheduled intervals assessing maintenance needs tenant compliance and overall property condition.
- Complete Exit (Final) Inspections comparing against the original condition report to evaluate cleaning standards identify damage and justify bond claims.
- Carry out Build Warranty Inspections on newly completed properties noting and reporting any warranty-related defects.
- Manage Open for Inspections for available rental properties recording prospective tenant interest and feedback.
About You
- Demonstrated experience conducting property inspections and managing inspection processes within property management
- Thorough knowledge of property condition reporting compliance requirements and relevant legislation
- Expertise in engaging with tenants landlords and contractors as well as resolving disputes related to inspections and property condition
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong focus on improving inspection systems and maintaining accurate records
- Outstanding communication skills able to provide coaching and support to team members involved in property inspections
- Hold a current Agents Representative Certificate and a valid Australian drivers licence.
