Job Summary:

The company has world class laboratories and facilities and a highly dynamic multi-disciplinary work environment.
Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for a full time (40 hours a week) summer intern position in the Fab Operations group in the Electronics Division starting May/June 2026 until August/September 2026.
Essential duties:
Work with team members in a cleanroom environment to develop and characterize advanced semiconductor fabrication processes
Assist in the design of experiments for cleanroom process module development
Perform metrology using standard cleanroom characterization tools and assist in data analysis
Assist in the development of statistical process controls for cleanroom process modules
Document and report on development efforts
Desired skills experience and qualities:
Previous knowledge and experience using cleanroom tools (lithography deposition etch)
Experience with cleanroom metrology tools (profilometry scanning electron microscope ellipsometry)
Basic understanding of semiconductor devices (bipolar and field effect transistors) and process flows is a plus
Basic understanding of design of experiments and statistical process control is a plus
Well organized and detail oriented
Good communication skills and inquisitive mind
Education:
Electrical engineering undergraduate students with some previous hands-on cleanroom experience
Citizenship Requirements
