Job Summary

Job Advert Summary

The HC Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing SAGE Position Management and Performance Management modules to ensure accurate organizational structures and effective performance processes across Unitrans. This role supports HC strategies by maintaining system integrity enabling data-driven decisions and improving user experience.



Duties & Responsibilities

SAGE Position Management

  • Administer the full lifecycle of position management within the SAGE system including creation modification and deactivation of positions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date organizational structures:
    o Create and update comprehensive organizational hierarchies.
    o Ensure accurate representation of departmental structures.
    o Maintain real-time position reporting lines.
  • Configure and maintain position hierarchies classifications and grades.
  • Conduct regular audits of position management data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HC leadership to align system representation with organizational design and workforce planning.

Performance Management Module

  • Oversee and support annual performance management processes including goal-setting mid-year reviews and evaluations.
  • Configure and monitor goal-setting and tracking mechanisms to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure the system reflects current performance management methodologies and competency frameworks.
  • Provide ongoing user support troubleshooting and training.
  • Generate performance-related reports for HC and leadership to support talent reviews and succession planning.

System Administration

  • Maintain system integrity and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform bulk updates for positions goals and performance data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly.
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all processes comply with internal policies labor regulations and data protection standards.
  • Maintain audit trails for system changes and updates.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with HC Business Partners line managers and department heads to ensure accurate position data and effective performance management practices.
  • Communicate system updates process changes and timelines clearly to all stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Participate in HC technology projects and contribute to testing and implementation of new features.
  • Train HC team members and end-users on best practices for using SAGE modules effectively.


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAGE HC systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Position Management and Performance Management modules.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.

  • Intermediate-level SAGE HC system configuration.
  • Proficient in HC information systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise.
