The Senior Procurement Representative Equipment is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for capital equipment capex and related services in Indonesia with an annual spend of approximately USD 4 million. The role ensures competitive sourcing cost optimization supplier performance and full compliance with company policies while partnering closely with Supply Chain Operations Engineering Finance and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibility:
- Lead end-to-end procurement for capital equipment including specification alignment RFQs/RFPs negotiations contracting and purchase order execution.
- Manage an annual equipment spend of USD 4M ensuring cost competitiveness and value delivery.
- Support sourcing strategies for equipment categories in alignment with regional and global procurement strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities standardization levers and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
- Develop and manage relationships with local and regional equipment suppliers.
- Conduct supplier evaluations performance reviews and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality delivery cost and service levels.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company standards ethics and sustainability requirements.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies approval matrices and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation contracts and sourcing records.
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Track spend savings supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status risks and opportunities to management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for equipment spend.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Procurement Engineering Business or related field.
- 58 years of experience in procurement sourcing and experience in manufacturing industrial chemical or equipment-intensive environments.
- Proven experience managing capital equipment procurement or technical categories.
- Experience managing spend in the range of USD 35 million is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with local Indonesian suppliers and regional stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Good understanding of contracts Incoterms and supplier agreements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to compliance.
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Exposure to regional or global procurement frameworks.
