As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator youll be the first point of contact for patients beginning their orthodontic journey. Youll guide patients through consultations present treatment plans explain financial options and ensure they feel informed supported and confident throughout their care. Youll also collaborate closely with orthodontists the clinical team and the Practice Manager to maintain efficient clinic operations and deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and support new patients through initial orthodontic consultations
- Present treatment plans payment options and answer patient questions clearly and empathetically
- Coordinate appointments follow-ups and ongoing patient communications
- Act as a liaison between patients orthodontists and clinic staff
- Maintain accurate patient records treatment progress and reporting
- Deliver exceptional patient service with professionalism and care
- Assist the Practice Manager with clinical efficiencies and staff development
- Support the clinical team to ensure smooth high-quality patient care
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator within a Dental/Orthodontic practice is highly desirable with a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)
- Experience with dental software is a must
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a patient-first approach
