The role

The Sponsorship & Events Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the wider Sponsorship and Events team in the delivery of the Sapphire Gala. The role contributes to the effective coordination of event activities while supporting and strengthening philanthropic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including committee members donors and sponsors.

This is a casual role 15 30 hours per week for approximately 4 weeks and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.


Key criteria

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary or vocational qualification in role related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in the same or a similar role.
  • Strong administration multi-tasking planning and organisational skills.
  • Database management experience including the ability to maintain accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and collaborative in a team environment and a desire to be in an outcome driven team.
  • High levels of attention to detail quality control and adherence to administrative procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills with clear ability to relate to people of varied ages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to positively inspire support from individuals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including but not limited to Word Excel Outlook.
