Job Summary
Lawn Specialties is seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Lawn Care Supervisor to oversee lawn maintenance operations for residential and commercial clients. This leadership role is responsible for supervising multiple crews ensuring service quality supporting team development and driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong lawn care expertise proven supervisory experience and a commitment to safety performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise coordinate and support lawn care crews to ensure timely consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling routing and workload distribution.
- Ensure proper application of lawn treatments including fertilizers weed control and insect control in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections and property evaluations identifying turf conditions weeds pests and improvement opportunities.
- Provide leadership coaching and ongoing training to team members; mentor Foremen and Technicians to support professional growth.
- Serve as a point of escalation for customer inquiries concerns and service issues ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
- Monitor productivity performance metrics and crew efficiency to meet operational and financial goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of production reports invoices vehicle inspections and other required documentation.
- Promote and recommend additional services to existing clients to support business growth.
- Oversee proper use maintenance and care of equipment and company vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies environmental regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications :
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in lawn care or landscaping operations.
- Prior supervisory lead or management experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of lawn care treatments turf health and equipment.
- Valid drivers license with 5 years of clean driving history.
- Experience operating trucks up to 1 ton (CDL not required).
- Pesticide applicator license preferred (or ability and willingness to obtain).
