Job Summary
Air Systems is looking for a Part-Time Project Management Intern for our Construction Department in San Jose Construction Project Management Intern will support the planning and execution of construction projects with a focus on HVAC systems ensuring tasks are organized timelines are met and project documentation is accurate and complete.
Schedule: 20-30 hours per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in planning scheduling and coordinating construction projects with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Support the preparation of project documentation including budgets timelines and progress reports.
- Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Communicate with vendors contractors and internal teams to maintain smooth project execution.
- Help monitor compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Organize and maintain project files ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to observe HVAC installations and overall project progress.
- Provide administrative support for procurement and inventory tracking.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management Business Management Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in HVAC systems and construction project management.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn about construction processes and HVAC systems.
