Job Summary

As part of PIB Groups Central Services you will be contributing to a growing specialist insurance broking and advisory business with strong career development opportunities. The role is to process and control accounting transactions and provide technical support to IBA and business colleagues relating to more complex accounting activities associated with our clients insurance policies.

The role is instrumental in protecting our clients money under the CASS 5 rules whilst providing an efficient and compliant service to our stakeholders taking full responsibility for investigating and resolving more complex queries in a timely and accurate manner.

The role profile is applicable to the following areas:
Cash allocation
Bank reconciliation
Insurer & Bordereaux reconciliation
Client Insurer & Introducer payments

This is a 6-month fixed term contract based in Retford working hybrid once trained and offering a standard 35-hour week.

About You

Were looking for someone who brings:

  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and insurer accounting

  • Previous experience in finance administration remediation & reconciliation

  • Previous experience of working in a financial services environment

  • Working knowledge of IBA accounting systems

  • Working Knowledge of CASS 5 Regulations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in using MS Office including Excel & Word
