Accounts Payable Supervisor
Hakkasan Group home to the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan and Yauatcha restaurants is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our UK Finance & Accounting team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable function across multiple venues supporting month-end close maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring accuracy across all payment and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Finance Operations
Own and manage the UK Accounts Payable function across multiple sites.
Maintain an accurate purchase ledger including invoice processing matching and coding (P&L creditor and VAT).
Process head office contract and multi-site invoices including manual entries where required.
Support month-end close including accrual reviews and meeting reporting deadlines.
Prepare monthly AP listings with commentary.
Complete supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
Process mid-month month-end and ad-hoc payment runs.
Own payment reconciliation across; bank credit card deposit and other payment transactions.
Process weekly employee expenses and bank postings.
Support audit requests and finance-led improvement initiatives.
Systems & Controls
Work with finance systems such as Craftable Docuware and SAP B1 (or similar).
Support PO reviews invoice corrections and VAT mapping.
Manage the AP inbox ensuring timely responses and organised records.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for Accounts Payable queries.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Deliver a professional customer-service-focused approach aligned with company values.
About You
Previous Accounts Payable experience ideally in a multi-site or fast-paced environment.
Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of MS Office.
Experience with finance systems (Craftable Docuware SAP B1 or similar) preferred.
Highly organised detail-oriented and able to meet strict month-end deadlines.
Proactive trustworthy and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
Strong numeracy literacy and problem-solving skills.
Reliable discreet and able to work effectively under pressure.
