Shaw Industries is looking for a Supply Room Clerk to coordinate activities of the plant storeroom andmaintainan adequate supply of parts and materials.
This position is on 1st Shift.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the receiving unloading stocking maintaining ininventory.
Dispensing maintenance items and supplies.
Daily review of the stores withdrawal cards and receiving reports for correctness anddeliversto accounting.
Maintainpart inventory on computer andrequisitionparts and materials for inventory.
Edit the computersdata basewhen parts are received or removed fromstoreroom.
Ensure that all purchase orders are approved and that parts arrive when needed.
Monitor inventory levels of allstoresitems and recommend changes to the reorder point and the reorder quantity.
Assistengineering in cost estimates and reporting.
Using a lift truck mustpick up shipments of inventory at the ShawChemloading docks.
Send out items for repair and complete miscellaneous shipping sheets.
