DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
- The PLM Specialist is responsible for supporting the setup of items and processing new and current part numbers and changes to bills of materials across different PLM Systems (i.e Oracle EBS Oracle Cloud and TeamCenter) and different regions.
- Will support Change Analyst functions on the release and process of changes to bills of materials. Will work with Procurement on vendor setup and access as well as Engineering teams to ensure the Completion of ECRs ECOs deviations and Stop Ships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Migrate seamlessly across PLM platforms BOMs items and documentation as needed.
- Train Engineering on SKU requests and BOM changes.
- Work with corporate process owners on SKU release ECO and ECN process changes.
- Track ECR/ECO/ECNs through systems and processes to ensure timely completion.
- Track Deviations and Stop Ships through systems and processes to ensure timely completion.
- Work with Procurement and Engineering for new SKU setup and BOM inputs.
- Open/use 2D and 3D CAD files in CREO/AutoCAD convert extensions and fonts and ensure file functionality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent field.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years technical or directly related experience with Engineering Change orders implementation and/or BOM creation.
- 1-3 years of experience in Oracle EBS Oracle Cloud or any other ERP usage.
- Computer skills proficiency in Microsoft-Office suite especially handling Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables vlookups).
- Ability to facilitate positive and effective cross-functional relationships across multiple LOBs and geographic locations.
- Strong project-management skills.
- Excellent English communications skills written & verbal.
- Knowledge of CAD systems a plus. Creo Autocad etc.
