The Position:
Ascot Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of our transactional finance operations and partner closely with the CFO to drive financial excellence across the business. This is a pivotal leadership role where youll ensure accuracy integrity and efficiency in all financial processes while delivering insights that shape strategic decisions.

Financial Operations: Manage accounts payable/receivable cash flow supplier payments and payroll coordination.Systems Leadership: Act as ERP super-user lead system improvements integrations and troubleshooting.Data & Reporting: Ensure data integrity compliance and timely month-end close; support management reporting and dashboards.Process Improvement: Streamline workflows document SOPs and drive automation for greater efficiency.Compliance & Audit: Maintain strong controls prepare audit documentation and manage transactional risk.Planning & Forecasting: Support budgeting forecasting and scenario modelling aligned to corporate strategy.Insights & Analysis: Deliver monthly reports analyse performance trends and support Board/ELT reporting.Business Partnering: Work with divisional leaders to turn financial insights into action; provide commercial support on bids tenders and contracts.What Were Looking For
Proven experience managing transactional finance in a multi-site organisation.Strong ERP and finance systems expertise.Advanced skills in budgeting modelling and financial analysis.A proactive leader who thrives on improving processes and driving efficiency.Experience in construction or project-based environments (desirable)Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related discipline. CA/CPA qualified in a chartered firm followed by three years in industry or 10 years experience in industry finance positions. What you get:
