Qantas Freight is Australias largest independent air freight services business carrying over 4000 air freight shipments per day across more than 500 destinations globally. Qantas Freight operates 2 domestic overnight freighter networks flying 60 flights per night utilising 17 dedicated freighter aircraft.
As the Duty Controller Freighter Operations you will be responsible for coordinating & planning day to day Freighter Network Operations in line with business requirements and in the event of disruptions formulating a plan and communicating schedule recovery this operational role you will effectively liaise with key stakeholders on matters of operational significance identify and address recurring operational issues and escalate issues as appropriate.
Youll have
- Extensive experience in Freight Operations and Airport handling functions
- Proficiency with operational systems such as iCargo Compass and IMSP
- Strong influencing negotiating and communication skills across all organisational levels
- Proven ability to make sound highimpact decisions under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complex issues with limited direction
- Advanced analytical problemsolving and multitasking capability
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite including Excel
- High integrity professionalism and a collaborative approach that supports overall team and business effectiveness
